Teams dressed up in unique costumes at this year's Lowvelder Pub Crawl.

The energy was high on November 1 as Lowvelders gathered at Mustangs – The Dancing Place for the annual Lowvelder Pub Crawl.

Groups dressed up as hippies, prisoners, ‘damduikers’, and Lego blocks, adding to the fun atmosphere. Teams were judged on spirit, costumes, and originality.

Pub crawlers were transported by Citybug buses to six venues – Little Loftus, The Outpost Lapa, Hennie’s, Oppihoek, Marlin Pub and Grill, and Bossa – where they also voted for their favourite pub.

The day ended with a prize-giving at Mustangs, and Little Loftus was crowned this year’s best pub. The Damduikers won for best team spirit, and The Master Builders took home the best-dressed award.

The prize for best threesome was awarded to the Prisoners and Convicts and The Party Animals won for best troopers. The best-dressed individual for the day was Jalani Wessels who dressed-up as one of the Three Blind Mice.

Glasses were raised to the winners as everyone looked forward to next year’s crawl.
