February SASSA payment schedule announced

SASSA payments will be made over three days in February.

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has announced the February 2026 grant payment schedule, with payments to be made over three consecutive days:

• Older persons grant – Tuesday, February 3, 2026
• Disability grant – Wednesday, February 4, 2026
• Children’s grants and all other grants – Thursday, February 5, 2026

To change payment methods or banking details, beneficiaries must visit their nearest SASSA office with a valid South African ID and proof of account or a three-month bank statement, and complete a consent form.

Changes should be submitted before the 19th of each month to avoid processing delays.
