Ramaphosa appoints Mpumalanga director of public prosecutions
The newly appointed Mpumalanga DPP boasts vast experience in the legal field.
According to a statement issued by the Office of the President on March 5, President Cyril Ramaphosa has appointed Sonja Josiah Ntuli as director of public prosecutions (DPP) in Mpumalanga.
Ntuli has 29 years of experience in the legal field as an attorney and prosecutor. He spent 21 years with the National Prosecuting Authority, holding office as district court prosecutor and deputy director of public prosecutions in the course of his career.

Most recently, he was the acting DPP in Mpumalanga for close to three years following the departure of Advocate Nkebe Kanyane.
Ramaphosa wished Ntuli well in his role, hoping he will entrench the rule of law in the province and bring to book persons or entities that violate the law.
