Massive Rob Ferreira medal haul at MP champs
Rob Ferreira earned more podium places than any other high school.
Athletes of Hoërskool Rob Ferreira were in sublime form at the Mpumalanga Athletics Championships held in Secunda on Saturday, March 8.
The Robbies made their school and White River proud by winning 10 gold, 11 silver and 21 bronze medals.
Eleven Rob Ferreira athletes qualified for the ASA Junior Championship and will make up 12.5% of the entire Mpumalanga team.
Rob had more representatives at the MP champs than any other school, they won more medals than any other school, and won the most gold medals.

PJ Ntimane ran to gold in the boys 16 1 500m in 04:21.46, and took silver in the 800m.
He also claimed the bronze medal in the 3 000m. He qualified for the SA’s in all three events.
Sonia Tivane shone in the girls 16 sprints. She won gold in the 200m in 26.35 sec and silver in the 100m.
She will compete in the 100m at the SA champs.
The ASA Junior Championships will be held in Germiston from March 26 to 28.
