Police and local security companies are searching for a man who was allegedly kidnapped this evening, April 14 outside an estate in Mbombela. According to Divergent Ops operations manager Lappies Labuschagne, two vehicles collided and pulled over on Von Braun Street.

The suspects then allegedly stepped out of their vehicle and shot at the victim’s vehicle. “One of the suspects allegedly grabbed a man, and drove off,” Labuschagne added.

The victim is believed to be a father, although further details have not yet been confirmed.

Police remain on the scene and investigations are ongoing.
