When can you get your Sassa money in May?

As April comes to an end, the South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) is all set for the May payments; starting on Tuesday, May 5.

Older persons’ grants will be paid first on Tuesday, followed by disability grants on Wednesday, May 6.

Children’s grants will be available from Thursday, May 7, while any remaining or exceptional payments will be processed on Friday, May 8.

Beneficiaries are reminded that there is no need to rush to collect their money on the exact day, as the funds will remain safely in their accounts until they are withdrawn.
