Fraud case against 2 Malalane attorneys postponed in Nelspruit Regional Court

Bail has been extended for Zietta Janse van Rensburg and her former father-in-law as their matter returns to court in September.

The fraud, theft and money-laundering case against two Malalane attorneys has been postponed to September 28.

Zietta Janse van Rensburg and her former father-in-law Johan Janse van Rensburg appeared in the Nelspruit Regional Court today, August 12.

The postponement was granted after Zietta’s legal representative applied for further instructions from his client.

Zietta’s lawyer, Marco Lamberti, was not in court. A local correspondent addressed the court on his behalf.

The court heard that Johan does not yet have legal representation but will have a lawyer present at his next appearance.

Zietta is out on R6 000 bail and Johan on R10 000 bail.

Bail for both accused was extended.
