South African National Parks has issued its latest Kruger National Park Road Closure Register, dated August 11, detailing route conditions and closures across key camps following heavy rain.

Here is a list of closed and partially open roads in the park:

Skukuza
Roads S65 and S83 (Maroela Loop) are closed, while H4-1, S1 and S3 Kruger Gate are partially open.

Pretoriuskop and Phabeni
Roads H2-2, S3, S7, S8, S10, S11, S14, S19 and S20 are closed.

Biyamiti
Road S39 is partially closed. It is open from the S25 intersection, with no access from the S114.

Crocodile Bridge
Roads S28, S130, and S137 are closed, while the S102 is partially closed, with access from H5 to Mpondo Dam only and no access from the S26.

Lower Sabie
Roads S28, S29 – east of H10, S29 – west of H10, S30, S79, S122, S128, and S129 are closed.

N’wanetsi
Road S21 is closed.

Satara
Roads S90, S126, and S127 are closed, while the S39 and S100 are partially closed.

Olifants
Road S147 (one-way loop) is closed, while the S89 and S90 are partially closed.

Letaba
Roads S69 and S94 are closed, while the S46 is partially closed, but accessible from H1–5 to Engelhardt Dam.

Phalaborwa
Roads H14 and S131 are partially open.

Shimuwini
The S141 access road and river loop are closed.

Mopani
Road S136 is closed, while the S50 is partially open up to Grootvlei Dam. There is no access to Shingwedzi.

Sirheni
Road S57 (Sirheni access) is partially open from H1–7 to the S56.

Punda Maria
Road S99 is closed.

Pafuri
Roads S63 and S64 are partially open.
