• October 3: “Portraits with a twist” is an excellent way to entertain your children aged seven to 12 during the school vacation, while still allowing them to express their creativity. Inspired by Pablo Picasso’s style, kids will have the opportunity to create their own clay portraits. The event is from 12:00 to 13:30 at Cicada Restaurant. • October 4-10: The Cancervive Flagship Ride 2026 is back in Mpumalanga. The group, which focuses on cancer awareness, will be spreading knowledge and fun in Kaapsehoop, Mbombela, White River, Barberton and Sabie. Highlights include a visit to multiple schools in the Lowveld, a visit to AgriStar Macadamias, music and stories from survivors. The week kicks off on Sunday, October 4 at Silvermist Venue in Kaapsehoop with the arrival of the all-female motorbike convoy and an edu show at 16:00.
