Uplands play exceptional cricket on tour

This season Uplands Prep first team cricket was lucky enough to tour the Eastern Cape.

It began when the boys flew to Port Elizabeth to play against some
outstanding, like-minded Eastern Cape schools such as Clarendon Park, Harvest Christian School, St Andrews, Herbert Hurd Primary and Woodridge.
Uplands played exceptional cricket during the week with excellent achievements with both bat and ball.

Cameron Howe-Dreyer was the top scorer on tour with 52 not
out. Not to be outdone, Kieran McDonald chipped in with an average of 35.

Dylan Smart, coming in lower in the order had a very impressive strike rate of 121 per 100 balls faced.
In the bowling stakes, Nicholas Brotherton took two wickets per game at a remarkable economy rate of 2,1 runs per over. Mark Botha and Luke Edmondson both came to the party with five wickets each.
