Golfers and bowlers take to the green

Nine golfers and nine bowlers had to play 12 ends of bowls against one another.
They had such a laugh, it was all fun and entertaining. There was a couple wrong byes bowled by both parties and each had to pay a R5 fine.

The end score of team one was Bowlers 23/2. Second team were Bowlers 21/6 and third team the Golfers beat the bowlers 12/9. Darryl Cross the president of Bungalows received the floating trophy from Sabi River Sun Resort golf captain Neil Waitt.

The end result was Bowlers 51 points and Golfers 20.
Afterward everyone sat and had refreshments and enjoyed a boerewors roll. A few entuastic golfers played against one andother and once again everyone just had a giggle at some of the bowling.

The golfers’/bowlers’ day will take place every four months and anyone
