Amazayoni aim to clip the Dube Birds’ wings
Mpumalanga Black Aces and Moroka Swallows will lock horns next Wednesday at the KaNyamazane Stadium.

Both teams return to the field after a long break and have a big mountain to climb when they resume their Absa Premiership
campaign.
Having it hard are the Dube Birds who will have to go through the
wrath of the PSL champs, Kaizer Chiefs tomorrow before their encounter with Aces.
Swallows were last active on December 22 where they were held to a
two-all draw by the struggling Free State Stars, while Aces on the other hand lost 2-0 to the Pretoria-based outfits, Tuks FC.
Lack of game time may come back to haunt these two teams, especially Swallows who weren’t involved in many off-season games.
Even so, this fact may come to mean nothing since this team
has a number of experienced and quality players such as Lerato Chabangu, Siyabonga Nomvete and Bennett Chenene, just to name but a few, who may rise to the occasion.
Aces on the other hand also boast skilful and experienced players, such as former Pirates player Thulasizwe Mbuyane, Innocent Mdledle,
Mabuti Khanyeza and Abia Nale.
“Swallows are currently playing good football and we know that, but we have a plan in place and we are ready for them.
“This stadium has proven to be our lucky venue and I am sure that the soccer gods will be with us on Wednesday.
“We will show them no mercy,” said Aces’ spokesman, Gordon Masondo.
He said tickets were already on sale in all Computicket outlets and urged the team’s supporters to come in numbers to cheer the boys on.
Tickets are selling at R40 and kick-off is at 19:30.
