This event consisted of a 25km race as well as a 10km race. The 25km attracted 94 competitors starting at 06:00 at the Mara turnoff from the N4, running on the Boulders Road over the mountain, ending at Kaapmuiden Primary School. The 10km started at 06:30 with 89 competitors and ran out and back on the same route.

Although the total number of 183 finishers seems to be a low participation, it is already12% more than the total participation in 2007. The Organizers and sponsors are positive that this high quality and value for money event on a very unique route will grow substantially in in future.
