Lowveld senior bowlers beat the heat

Eight women, Lettie Ambrosius, Lynn Nicholas, Beryl Biggs, Toekie Botha, Gillian Beattie, Marilyn Coulson, Annatjie Nel, Marietjie Willers and eight men, Joao Richards, John van Eeden, Lood van Rooyen, Fanie Nel, Brian Coulson, Dick Terburgh, Niel Barnardt and Johan Botha were selected and competed against Impala, Waterberg and Central. 

Play was in a competitive format in teams of fours, with the one that got the most points after 21 ends winning the game. Two points were awarded to the winning team with one bonus point up for grabs. After two long days in hot weather, the Lowveld women and men senior teams once again brought the trophy home.
