More golf news is that the biggest annual golf contest in Mpumalanga, the Barberton Daisy Golf Tournament will start today and finish on Saturday.
This will be the 41st time the tournament is held at Barberton Golf Club, which is also one of the oldest clubs in the country. Every year, players from far and wide descend on Barberton for a few days’ golf which means the town also benefits financially.
The tee-off time for players during the event, will be at 12:00 for 12:30. This year the sponsors, who made this week possible, were FNB, Ford, Westvaal Barberton and Individual Stableford.
