Caddies get a chance to show off their skill at the game they love
On Monday afternoon the second Caddies Golf Day Challenge, sponsored by resident, Georg Müller, took place at the Malelane Golf Club.
On Monday afternoon the second Caddies Golf Day Challenge, sponsored by resident, Georg Müller, took place at the Malelane Golf Club.
Caddies played an 18-hole game for bragging rights and their share of R2 000. Speaking at the prize-giving ceremony, Müller announced that this would not be the last time he sponsors the golf day.
“Today has been a great success mainly because of you. And this is what we all want, we want Malelane caddies to be the best, and if we continue we are well on the way towards achieving that goal. I hope that we will be able to host this tournament every three months.”
Organiser of the first Caddies Golf Day Challenge, and the winner, Samwell Lukhele, welcomed this announcement.
“We are very happy with the golf day, all we can say is thank you very much. We are also every excited about the future of this challenge” Lukhele said.
