Pumas fired up and ready to tackle new year
The Steval Pumas camp have started with their annual preparations and welcome Kwhezi Mona, John Colin Fraser, Pule Sibiya and Lambert Groenwald to the squad.
The Steval Pumas entered the new year with their first training session in preparation for the prestigious 2015 Vodacom Cup which will take place in March.
This was a fantastic opportunity for the new season’s acquisitions to showcase their skills and impress management.
The Steval Pumas camp have started with their annual preparations and welcome Kwhezi Mona, John Colin Fraser, Pule Sibiya and Lambert Groenwald to the squad.
Mona is a prop from the Cell C Sharks who will look to add the necessary bulk and power to the front row.
Fraser was acquired from the Regent Boland Cavaliers, and will be a welcome addition in the loose forward department.
Sibiya is an u/21 Puma player who will be contracted to the squad for the Vodacom Cup only.
Groenewald is a loan player from the Golden Lions for both the Vodacom and Currie cups and will add his experience to the squad for the entire season. The team are currently working towards their first warm-up encounter on February 14 against the Vodacom Blue Bulls in Pretoria.
