ANC in Emjindini launches a new soccer tournament
The tournament was sponsored by various businesses and individuals.
The team, Extension 9A of Emjindini were crowned the winners of the inaugural ANC M’Africa Branch.
The tournament, which featured four teams, was played at Kamhola High School on December 24. It was organised by the Umjindi ANC’s M’Africa Branch ward councillor, Vusi Mkhatswa, who is also the municipal speaker.
The tournament was organised as part of the festive-season celebrations. It was sponsored by various businesses and individuals.
Mkhatshwa promised that it would become an annual event to celebrate the festive season.
For their efforts, Extension 9A received gold medals and a floating trophy while the players of Extension 9B, who lost, received silver medals.
