It is almost time to cast your lines
Start sorting out your tackle box, and polish your fishing rod because the summer series, Lowveld Small Boat Bass Trail Competition kicks off at the end of the month.
Nabana Fishing Club is hosting the popular competition and it promises to be bigger and better than ever. The first competition will be held at Klipkopje Dam on January 25, launching at 06:30 and finishing at 15:30.
The entry fee is R100 per person and only two anglers are allowed per team. Boats must carry life jackets and a livewell. Only bass to be weighed and boats with motors up to 15HP are allowed.
The entry fees will be donated to a Hazyview family to help pay for the treatment of their son’s disability. Local companies will sponsor the various prizes.

March 29 – Primkop
