KaMagugu rake in the most medals at games
The Senior Summer Games concluded recently with KaMagugu Inclusive School topping the medal standings with a total of 108.
The team attained 39 gold, 27 silver and 32 bronze medals. They also secured 16 fourth and six fifth places.
A total of 63 athletes from Dasha Foundation, KaMagugu and Pro Gratia Learning Centre competed in this annual event held at Laerskool Nelspruit.
The learners got a chance to show off their skills in the 100 and 800 metres and in high jump, long jump and shot put.
Pro Gratia finished in second place with a total of 42 medals – 17 gold, 14 silver and 11 bronze, as well as eight fourth and four fifth places.
Dasha attained a third position and their athletes managed to bag three gold, one silver and seven bronze medals.
