Swimmers got a chance to shine
The swimming season came to a conclusion for now and will commence again in the fourth term after the last gala took place at Curro College last week.
A total of 240 swimmers were present on the day.
Curro hosted a relay gala for both A and B and even C teams.
The following schools and teams were present:
Curro A, Curro B, Curro C, White River Primary A, White River Primary B, White River Primary C, Uplands Prep A, Uplands Prep B, Penryn Prep A, Penryn Prep B, St Peters A and Riverview Prep School A.
As one can see, this was the first time that A, B and C teams were present at a school gala. The event took longer this time but this was to be expected.
“At Curro we are delighted that we were able to host a gala of this size and give a large number of swimmers the opportunity to compete,” said head of sport for the foundation phase, Ryan McCarthy.
As this was a friendly event, no official results were kept.
