The Absa Premiership match will take place tomorrow at 19:30, with both teams hoping to gain three crucial points as the season comes to a close.
Aces will aim to exact revenge for their 2-1 loss they suffered when the teams previously met in November last year. Things have changed since that encounter at KaNyamazane Stadium with Aces now under the temporary tutelage of Jacob Sakala.
This team are now on a two-match unbeaten streak in the Absa Premiership and aim to keep that record until the end of the season.
The trip up north will be no easy task with Polokwane City still hurting from their 3-2 loss to Free State Stars in their previous match.
Polokwane City coach, Kosta Papic is an experienced campaigner who will use all his knowledge and strategic guile to fork out a win against the team from Mpumalanga.
Cole Alexander, who has been City’s best midfielder, will be one of Papic’s main attacking role players, while Aubrey Ngoma will perform the same duty on Aces’ side.
The battle of these two key players in the midfield will be one of the key aspects of the match.
Collins Mbesuma has also seemed to ignite his scoring flame and will look to keep burning bright for Aces against Polokwane City.
