Nelspruit Swimming Academy (NSA) has acquired the latest desktop and mobile software for their club.
This, in combination with cutting-edge training techniques will place NSA on a par with any high-performance centre in South Africa.
NSA’s parents can download a mobile application from iStore or Google Play Store which gives them access to their child’s top times.
These times are updated after every gala and parents will be able to track their child’s progress and determine whether the money spent on coaching is in fact paying off.

The application also allows them to track training progress, distances swum, as well as daily, weekly, and monthly attendance at coaching sessions. Swim South Africa or Mpumalanga Swimming will be able to have real-time access to the swimmers training schedule, progress and meet results.
The parents will have immediate access to the qualification times required for level one, two or three South African regional times. They will also have access to South African junior and senior national qualification times. In simple terms it will notify them immediately if the swimmer qualifies for any of the regionals or national events during the course of a local gala.
If a swimmer misses qualification time during a meet, the software will create a graph indicating how many seconds or milliseconds a swimmer has to improve in order to qualify.
The coach on deck can now keep proper attendance records, and he or she has access to metres trained for every athlete. This information allows the coach to prevent over training and to make sure that the swimmer’s energy levels remain optimal to take full advantage of all their training sessions.
