Victory on the track is sweet for local school

This past Friday Suikerland Secondary School held a friendly interhigh athletics meeting at the Malalane Golf Club’s rugby field.

A total of 12 high schools participated in the event, competing against one another.

Suikerland Secondary School, outclassed and outdone all the other schools with a total score of 81 points at the end of the day.

Here are the results of the top three performing learners and schools in various track events:

Boys u/17 (3 000 metres)

1. Karabo Noah (Tinhlonhla)

2. Mthokozisi Ndlovu (Mtimandze)

3. Senzo Ngwamba (Mtimandze).

Girls u/17 (3 000 metres)

1. Fundzama Njalo (Mtimandze)

2. Lukhele Pretty (Mtimandze)

3. Simatsimba Annah (Mtimandze).
