Red-hot action in Champs Cup
Fans of Nkomazi Soccer have packed the stands at Kamaqhekeza Stadium over the past few weeks for the Nkomazi LFA Champions Cup.
This new tournament is held in partnership with the Nkomazi Local Municipality, Nkomazi Sports Confederation, the Department of Sports and Recreation, SAFA Ehlanzeni and Nkomazi LFA.
The area’s many soccer teams now have another chance to prove they’re the best, following the highly successful Selati Cup earlier this year.

• Kamhlushwa City Stars vs Schoemansdal Blessed Babylon 2-2 with a 4-3 penalty shoot-out
• Driekoppies Mbokodo Wanderers vs Mzinti Young Waves 0-1
• Block C Blue Birds vs Magudu Mawewe Manchester 2-3

• Dludluma Love & Peace vs Magogeni Liverpool: 0-2
• Buffelspruit All Blacks vs Mzinti Young Waves 1-1 with a 4-2 penalty shoot-out
• Mdladla Black Movers vs Driekoppies Barcelona 1-3
• Block A Naughty Boys vs Mthatha Peacemakers 3-0
Results of July 17:
• Sambo Block B United vs Kamhlushwa City Stars 1-1 with a 2-0 penalty shoot-out
• Kamhlushwa Real Madrid vs Magudu Mawewe Manchester 0-1
• Steenbok Shando Real Aces vs Magogeni Classic 4-3
• Mananga Royal City vs Ntunda Home Killers 2-0.
The final eight teams will be facing off this weekend at the Kamaqhekeza stadium.
