Rebel racers show their mettle on a fast and furious enduro track
The kickstarter class is experiencing excellent growth and one can see how the riders' confidence grows from one race to the next.

Although it was little chilly early in the morning, the Rebel Raceway just outside Barberton was the venue for the second round of the Hyde Seasons in Africa Super Enduro last Saturday. With so much happening over the weekend, spectators were hard pressed to decide which event to attend.
Fortunately, the Boks did not disappoint – or did they? For those dedicated enduro riders though, the choice of where they should be, was a no-brainer. “We will go racing,” echoed all and sundry present.
Being such a versatile venue and to keep events exciting, this track offers the race organisers a number of options for layout changes from one event to the next. This time around, the middle section, just out of the sight of spectators was run in the opposite direction and the back-end also saw some minor changes.
Nothing that really slowed the riders down though, so the pace was very competitive. Ryan Silver, who seems to have written his name in stone at the top of the every event’s results, finished in first position yet again!
He won all three heats. The fast lane though is still dominated by Dwayne Kleynhans, Barend du Plessis and Erhardt Beukes. The latter finished third in the pro class on the day. The next event will be on September 17 at KMIA.
