Youngsters showcase their abilities and skills

Nelspruit Gymnastics Academy (NGA) experienced an overload of cuteness this past weekend.

The academy’s junior gymnasts participated in an evaluation test to monitor their progress and to determine their readiness for next year’s training. Strength, flexibility and emotional readiness is taken into account before gymnasts can advance to the next progressive level of artistic gymnastics.

Kids were awarded with their very own participation medal and the Mountain Spring Spur spoiled them with a gift and a bright balloon. With the test behind them the coaches will focus on building the children’s skills for their next level.

“Each child is a winner in his/her own right,” says head coach and owner of NGA, Maré Putter.

Her dedicated team of coaches has an infinite passion for the sport as well as the enduring well-being of the kids in their classes. During December the gymnasts will attend a specialised training course focused on growing their tumbling skills.
