Sports clinic aims to keep kids active

Rudi and Bianca Greyling held their first Holiday Action Kids clinic at the Nelspruit Action Sports Arena last week.

For R100 a day, kids could learn a new action or indoor sport from Monday to Friday: cricket, netball, soccer, hockey and touch rugby.

The participants also enjoyed lunch and drinks throughout the day. Rudi said it was a fun and healthy way to keep children busy over the holidays. “Another reason we did it, was to develop the kids in action sports and try to teach them something new every day,” he said.

He is planning to run a similar clinic one week of every school holiday. Here are (front) Hanré Smit, Skye Botha, Pierre Smit, (middle) Daniel Kotze, Jordan Botha, Jean-Pierre Lotter, and (back) Rudi Greyling.
