Warrior Race heads back

Warriors! Are you ready to get down and dirty?

South Africa’s largest obstacle race, the Warrior Race, is returning to the heart of the Lowveld at the end of May.

It’s a sport that incorporates trail running along with various physical challenges in the form of obstacles.

Mbombela’s Kwanyoni Lodge will host the fourth event in 2017 the weekend of May 27 and 28.

The event has struck a chord with adventure-loving South Africans, presenting a physical and mental challenge, turning everyday people into warriors in the spirit of overcoming adversity.

The events are spectator-friendly and supporters can watch athletes overcome obstacles and in many cases their fears.
