Hazyview gymnasts win a haul of medals

One of the gymnasts refused to quit the games and managed to finish all the apparatus with his injured foot.

Ten gymnasts from Hazyview Gymnastics Club recently represented the province in the North Zone Championships held in Eldoraigne, Pretoria.
“PJ (Kraft) had a bad fall on his first apparatus, injuring his foot with the warm-up vault. He was then stabilised and strapped. He refused to quit the games and managed to finish all the apparatus with his injured foot. Not even the judges were sure whether he would be able to finish the games, but he pulled through and was very pleased with his results,” said head coach, Maré Putter.
