Pumas thank Penryn

The Steval Pumas thanked the captain of the Penryn College first XV for his role in promoting home games during the course of the year.

Jarred Swanevelder, captain of Penryn’s first XV rugby team, has been hard at work driving the Pumas Rugby Unions’ schools player ambassador project at the school.

The project was launched at the beginning of the year in a bid to grow stadium attendance at the Steval Pumas’ home games.

Learners were identified by their respective schools as Steval Pumas ambassadors and have been responsible for coordinating promotional campaigns at theirs schools.

The Pumas recently visited the Penryn campus to thank Swanevelder for the role he played in the project by giving him a rugby ball signed by the Pumas squad.
