Joshua, Nombusa are the two to watch

With his first throw of the day, Joshua Greeff managed to set a new javelin record with a distance of 41,68 metres for boys u/15 during Penryn College's interhouse athletics meeting.

He set another record in the 1 500-metre item with a time of 4:58, breaking the previous record by a mere 52 split seconds.

Nombusa Khoza, who will set the bar high for boys u/17 late in February at the Mediclinic Nelspruit Interhigh, set new distances in the discus, javelin and shot put.

Zanele Chavangwane (u/16, 100 metres), Vusi Mpofu (u/17, long jump) and Danton Olivier (u/17, long jump) are also in the record books for their achievements.
