Spirited winter sports at Laerskool Bergland
Various rugby and netball matches were played in a highly competitive yet friendly spirit. The visitors' first rugby team beat Bergland 22-7.
Laerskool Bergland hosted White River Primary during league games in Mbombela on Thursday.

In the second teams’ clash, Bergland retaliated by winning 12-5. Their u/11 team were also victorious with a 41-5 score and so were the u/10s with 22-7.
However, in the u/9s’ game, White River walked off with a winning score of 29-10.
Twelve netball games were also played and looking at the results the teams were well-matched. Bergland won five games, White River six and one match was a draw. All the teams played with dedication and represented their schools well.

Bergland came up against Laerskool Barberton on Tuesday. Their next fixtures will be against Laerskool Laeveld on Thursday at Laeveld.
White River Primary will play Nelspruit Primary on Thursday in White River.
