Cyclists take on Forest 2 Falls MTB race
The event is widely hailed as the biggest fundraising effort on the Shalom Christian School calendar and saw riders of all ages and classes braving the terrain in the marathon, half marathon and fun ride categories.

Mountain bikers descended on Graskop on Saturday for the 19th annual Forest 2 Falls Mountain Biking Race. The competitors rode over the 15-, 33- and 60-kilometre distances over a route which wound through Graskop, then on to York Timbers, through the Safcol Komatiland forestry road before passing Lisbon Falls and ending at Berlin Falls.
A number of companies pitched in and sponsored the six water points where the riders were able to slake their thirst during the gruelling race. The event is widely hailed as the biggest fundraising effort on the Shalom Christian School calendar and saw riders of all ages and classes braving the terrain in the marathon, half marathon and fun ride categories.
