Nelspruit Primary cricketers’ winning streak sees them crowned schools league winners
The team's admirable performances on the field has yielded positive results
Nelspruit Primary School’s (NPS) u/11 A boys’ cricket team have swept aside the competition and were crowned winners of the Ehlanzeni Super Schools league this year.
Proud coach, Albert van Putten said the team defended their title successfully after bowling out the competition in a similar fashion last year.

“We are very proud of them and wish the boys all the best for the play-offs which will be held after the school holidays.
“The Mpumalanga semi-final will either be held against Goedehoop or Kanonkop,” he said.
With results like these, it is little wonder that five boys from NPS have been selected to play for the Pumas cricket team. Their names will be announced after the school holidays.
