Young swimmers put their pride on the line for clubs
A number of local clubs were well represented at the swim meeting.
The Van Riebeeck Park Pool waters came alive this past weekend when the Age Group 2 swimmers donned their swimming gear and took to the water. Participants swam their way through 17 events including the mixed 400-metre long course (LC), mixed-50 metre LC backstroke, mixed 200-metre LC breaststroke, mixed 100-metre LC butterfly, and freestyle.

A number of local clubs were well represented at the swim meeting, including Curro Swimming Academy, Uniswim, Midwit Swimming Club, Guppie Tigers, Fins Swimming Club and Nelspruit Swimming Academy.

After the tough Age Group 1 swim meeting the previous weekend, the points were tallied and the combined team scores for the various clubs were recorded as per the table below:
