Summerhill interhouse a great success

Summerhill recently held their interhouse athletics.

The learners took part in two teams, the Sunbirds and the Loeries. The athletes participated in all the races and field items. Sunbirds won the relays, but the Loeries were the overall winners of the day.

Besides the usual athletics events, Summerhill also featured a pre-school race and Loerie dads vs Sunbirds dads relay. The moms and teachers also had a chance to participate in relays.

Five records were broken: Mthandeki Sibiya set a new record in the boys u/10 shot put. Nqcwele Mhlanga set new records for u/11 long jump and shot put. Keletile Mnisi set a new record for the girls open long jump and Nkateko Sethole for the boys in the same category.
