Pumas and Cheetahs name teams for Carling Currie Cup battle

A bonus-point win is a must for the home team

The Phakisa Pumas will face the Toyota Cheetahs in a Carling Currie Cup match at Mbombela Stadium tomorrow night at 19:00

The Cheetahs are fifth on the log with 17 points. The Pumas are sixth on 11 points.

The Pumas have made three changes to their starting XV. Phumzile Maqondwana replaces Darrien Landsberg at blindside flank, and Devon Williams will start at fly half and Tiaan Botes will warm the bench. Etienne Taljaard will play in the number 11 jersey in place of Ruwellyn Isbell.

Cheetahs’ coach, Hawies Fourie, has moved Frans Steyn to flyhalf. Former Pumas’ loose forward, Jeandré Rudolph will start at number 8 for the visitors.

Rasta Rasivhenge will be the referee.  He will be assisted by Aimee Barrett-Theron and Morné Ferreira.  The TMO is Pro Legoete.
