The athlete entry fee will be R200. Spectators (Covid-19 permitting) can look forward to special guest appearances by John Leslie and Lizelle Koster, and the MC for the event will be Llewellyn R Cordier.

Jamie van der Walt, the new chief organiser, urged participants to continue with their training as the event takes place in six weeks. “Stick to your plans, don’t neglect water intake, take rest seriously and stay motivated,” said Van der Walt, adding that it is now of the utmost importance to stick to diet goals; diet for bulking, then cutting, shredding or leaning. “The right tan is also very important, and practising your poses is invaluable,” she said.
