Pumas and Griquas announce teams for Kimberley battle

Two brothers will be playing against each other

The NNC Pumas will travel to Kimberley tomorrow for their final Preparation Series match against the Tafel Lager Griquas.

The Pumas have won one of their three matches in the campaign so far. The Griquas’ only win was against the EP Elephants last weekend.

Jaco Willemse will make his debut for the Pumas at lock. He is the younger brother of Stefan Willemse who played 33 matches for the Pumas between 2017 and 2019, scoring four tries. Stefan, a loose forward, will wear the number seven jersey for Griquas on Saturday.

The match will take place at Tafel Lager Park at 15:00 on Saturday.
