He clocked 36 minutes, 27 seconds to take the honours in the 10-kilometre race

Abednico Mashaba won the hybrid run/walk at GZ Adventures, Mankele, on Saturday.

He clocked 36 minutes, 27 seconds to take the honours in the 10-kilometre race.

The hybrid race got Lowveld runners and walkers back to doing what they love on a Saturday morning – competing.

The course included tar, gravel and bush single track.

Prince Ndlovu was second in 36:43 and Ntutuko Masego third in 38:21.

Zanele Sehohle won the women’s 10-kilometre race in 50:18.

Simoné Odendaal was second in 50:19 and Madeleine Whitehair third in 52:17.
