The Rockets take on Cape Town City after sinking Swallows

TS Galaxy will be aiming for their third win under coach, Sead Ramovic.

TS Galaxy will host Cape Town City at Mbombela Stadium at 15:30 today (Saturday).

The Rockets are 14th on the DStv Premiership log table with eight points after 11 matches.

City are ninth on the log table with 13 points from 10 matches.

TS Galaxy won their second consecutive home match with a 1-0 victory over the Swallows on Sunday.

A first-half goal gave TS Galaxy the win over Swallows.

The Rockets dominated the first half, creating numerous opportunities. Their ability to keep possession and their crisp passing had Swallows on the back foot.

Seven minutes into the game, Siphiwe Mahlangu put a shot past Jody February, low and to the keepers’ left.

The Rockets held a 1-0 lead.

Poor finishing and some excellent keeping from February denied TS Galaxy further goals in the first half.

The second half belonged to Swallows.

They came out firing and had much the better of the home team.

The Rockets defence and goalkeeper Vasilije Kolak were kept very busy.

TS Galaxy did have their opportunities too, but once again poor finishing was their worst enemy.

The Rockets held out for a deserved 1-0 win.
