Stunning performances at Bergvlam meeting
Vlammies' Danika Stoltz was the best girl field athlete of the day.
Hoërskool Bergvlam hosted an exceptional friendly athletics meeting on Saturday.
Hoërskool Sybrand van Niekerk, Komatipoort Akademie, Penryn College and Uplands College were invited.
Luke Barnard of Uplands was the victor ludorum with teammate Lily Rose the victrix ludorum. Lily also won the best girl track athlete trophy for her 13.27s in the u/16 100m.
The best girl field athlete was Zanika Stoltz of Bergvlam for her distance of 9.63m in the u/14 shot-put.
Uplands’ Dylan Kirk won the trophies for best boy track and best boy field athlete. He ran the u/17 100m in 11.24s and leapt 6.59m in the long jump.
