Mignon Swart of Curro Nelspruit Swimming Academy was in fine form in the water at the season-ending SSA Level 1 Provincial Gala on Saturday.

She won six individual gold and two silver medals. Swimmers from all over the province competed in the event. Mignon won first places in the girls u/9 50m butterfly (47.98s), the 100m backstroke (01;39.52s), the 50m freestyle (39.62s), 100m breaststroke (01;46.40s), 50m backstroke (44.95s) and 50m breaststroke (48.91s).

She claimed second places in the 200m freestyle and 100m freestyle.

The event was a wonderful end to a successful post-lockdown season.
