Hot performances at Winter Swimming Champs at Curro Nelspruit
Rivalries were renewed in the short-course pool.
The Mpumalanga Winter Short Course Swimming Championships were held at Curro Nelspruit on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The best junior male swimmer was Schalk Loock of Nelspruit Aqua Elite Swim Academy.
The best junior female competitor was Uniswim’s Miela Banza.
Henning Radley of Curro Swimming Academy won the trophy for the best senior male.
Lucy Friedenthal of Uniswim and Jaime Maritz of Nelspruit Swimming Academy Development shared the best senior female trophy.
Swimmers from 16 clubs and schools took part.
