Hoërskool Standerton scored a narrow 21-18 win over Curro Nelspruit in the SPAR Mpumalanga Medium Schools’ Rugby Finals at Curro Nelspruit on Saturday.

The two first teams were on an even keel as the match went down to the wire.

Supporters of the participating schools packed the pavilion and field’s sides for a day of rugby played in true schoolboy spirit.
