Morgan Naudé, who celebrated his 20th birthday just over a month ago, will make his Currie Cup Premier Division debut when he props up the iCollege Pumas scrum against the Toyota Free State Cheetahs in Bloemfontein tonight.

The Laerskool Bergland and Hoërskool Nelspruit alumnus was pulled out of the Pumas u/20 team and replaces Khwezi Mona at loose-head. He was still at school two years ago and represented the Pumas Craven Week team in 2016, one of nine Nellies in that year’s team. Naudé signed for the Pumas in November of his matric year.

He made his iCollege Pumas debut against the Windhoek Lager Welwitschias in the SuperSport Challenge in Secunda on June 15, so far his only senior cap.

There is only one other change to the starting XV which lost to the Vodacom Blue Bulls last Friday. Jeandré Rudolph replaces Stefan Willemse.
Willie Engelbrecht moves from number 8 to blindside flank and Rudolph will play eighthman.

On the bench, Cameron Lindsay replaces Hilton Lobberts.

The Free State Cheetahs are bottom of the log with not a single win from their five matches. They have conceded an average of 40 points per match.
A victory for the Pumas is vital to keep their slim Currie Cup semi-final hopes alive.

The referee for the match is Cwengile Jadezweni. He will be assisted by Ben Crouse and Jaco Kotze. The TMO is Lourens van der Merwe.

Kick-off at Toyota Stadium is at 17:00. At 19:15 the Toyota Cheetahs face Ulster in a Guinness PRO14 match
