Brave athletes take on any obstacle

The hot weather ensured the competitors were pushed to the limit.

Round three, the final round of the OCR Series 2022, was hosted by OCR Nelspruit Eagles at Eagle’s View on Saturday.

Despite the early start the obstacle course racers endured high temperatures and were pushed to the limit.

1.6km OCR

• 1st: Pieter Briel Jr – 23:39
5km OCR
• 1st: Reynard de Bruin – 46:10
• 2nd: Pieter Briel – 46:11
• 3rd: Ethan Esterhuizen – 52:07
Team 5K OCR
• 1st: Team Everest (Margo Meyer, Wendy Joubert, Leanne Pieterse and Celia Bezuidenhout) – 1:29:40
• 2nd: Team NWD (Jehangir Khan, Noerien Moolla, Suhana Pathan, Suhayl Siddique, Aisha Moola and Farhaan Cassim) – 1:36:17.
