IN PHOTOS: Maseko and Bosch dash to victory
Da Mongoose 21.1km, 10km and fun run attracted athletes of all ages.
Nthuthuko Maseko powered to victory in the Da Mongoose Dash Half Marathon near White River on Saturday, September 27. The Nedbank LVCC athlete clocked a time of 01:16:40 to win the open and 40+ categories.
Ismael Phiri of City of Mbombela Marathon Club was second in 01:19:45, and Ricardo Ngonema of Gijimas Nkomazi third in 01:29:00.
Da Mongoose Dash was hosted by Legogote Villagers.
Wendy Bosch of City of Mbombela dominated the open and 40+ categories of the women’s half-marathon, winning in 01:40:42.
Lizanne de Villiers was second in 01:52:59, and Alison Hay third in 01:56:19. Both ran in the colours of Lowmed. Hay was also the 50+ winner.
