Uplands’ Goss House beat College House by a single point

The athletes of Uplands College smashed 23 in-house records at its interhouse on Saturday and Monday.

The athletes of Uplands College showed some determination just to participate in the interhouse, which started on Saturday. It was interrupted by rain, and eventually called off, and continued on Monday.

Goss House beat College House by a single point, 1 181 to 1 180, to be house champions. Founders House was third, followed by Bishop House.

Individually, Tamryn Hawley from Bishop was the senior victrix ludorm, and College’s Pierre Naude the senior victor.

The junior girls award was shared by Sara Archdeacon and Lebo Mashigo, both from Goss. Swelihle Sigudla and Jarred Matthew from Collegeshared the boys’ prize.

A total of 23 standing records were also broken on the day, by individuals and relay teams.
